This injector upgrade is perfect to improve mpg, works great with a stock turbo, and it's the best single shot injector to replace the stock/OEM injectors to retain similar driving characteristics. This injector set features internal modifications for extra fuel and converted from split shot to the single shot. With modifications to the internals the injectors can flow 180cc of fuel which creates more power. 180cc vs 160cc:
180cc is the best choice for most 1999-2003 trucks. The only time we recommend the 160cc injectors is in high altitude locations or for the customer that don't want a large power increase. The only benefit of the 160cc is the 99-03 is converting to a more efficient single shot injector with a very small bump in power. The stock injectors have an effective flow rate of 120cc.

Tuning Information: 
If you don't have a tuner or a chip currently please select a Hydra chip with custom tunes. This has to be done to convert the computer to a single shot fuel injector program. All tunes still add the appropriate power. 6 custom tunes are included with the purchase of the chip.  Typically, the following six tunes ar included:

• Heavy Tow – Towing up to the trucks capacity but with better economy than stock
• High Idle – Aids warm-up and running accessories with heavy electrical demand or better air conditioner performance in the summer time on long periods of idling
• Tow Economy – Gains about 40 HP over stock can usually tow up to 10,000 lbs but user should watch Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) on long hills if towing 7,000 lbs and above.
• Street Muscle – Gains 80-100 HP over stock and runs about 1300 degrees max with an exhaust and intake installed – for split shots only!
• Street Fury – Good for extra passing power (must watch EGT) and sprints from stoplight to stoplight without belching tons of smoke – for split shots OR single, please choose!
• All Out – This file definitely smokes with a stab of the throttle but power gains over tune 5 depend on the condition of your High Pressure Oil Pump (HPOP) and its availability to produce enough volume to the injectors
