Fuel Injection Pump - River City Diesel CPX - 6.7L Ford - '11-'23
From FICMrepair.com

2011- 2023 6.7L Ford Power Stroke CPX Injection Pump
RCD has built the pump Ford should have installed at the factory! Supplying high-pressure fuel is an injection pump's job. Unfortunately, the OEM CP4 does it with a high probability of failing (typically around the 100,000-mile mark). This leaves an owner with the need to overhaul their truck's entire fuel system at a cost that hovers somewhere between $8,000 and $10,000. This pump from RCD can help you to avoid all of that. It's a fact that sometimes the best time to fix a problem is before it even happens.
FITMENT: There are two (2) versions of this pump, so be sure to select the proper one for your model year.
1) Fits '11-'19 6.7L PowerStroke Vehicles
2) Fits '20-'23 6.7L PowerStroke
There are Three (3) custom build options/variations that can be applied to either of the above model year options.
1) BASE Level - Improved '15-'19 OEM output; 15% greater than '11-'14 OEM (7.5mm)
2) 10% Over (25% over '11-'14 OEM) - Performance tuned vehicles (8.25mm) ** Supports up to 650HP
3) 38% Over (53% over '11-'14 OEM) - Beast Level (10.3mm) ** Supports up to 850HP
FEATURES:
• Pinned lifter buckets to prevent rotation and stop failures. Even during a gel.
• New feed port, preventing any contaminated crankcase debris from entering the plungers and barrels. (Built in disaster prevention kit)
• Direct drop-in replacement, no aftermarket fuel lines or components needed.
• No additional labor or modifications to install.
This CPX pump retains the OEM operational design by providing four (4) pumps per engine revolution. This is something you WILL NOT get with "eccentric" knockoff pumps that alternate and only pump every other firing event. i.e. Only two (2) pumps per engine revolution vs the four (4) pumps of an OEM Bosch which is timed and designed to pump into the bank that is firing. This helps ensure peak nozzle pressure and reduces any adverse fluid dynamics as fuel crosses from one rail to the other.
Early on, the high failure rates of CP4 pumps were blamed on a lack of lubricity in US diesel fuel. While lubricity always matters, research has demonstrated that a design lapse is/was likely the greatest flaw. While it's not our place to declare an official single source of the problem, what we do know is that debris created by cam erosion (metal shavings wedge between the rollers and buckets, causing the rollers to skid against the lobes and ultimately become flattened from excessive heat) eventually passes into the injectors and then is recirculated throughout the fuel system. As the cycle repeats itself, more and more deterioration occurs until the lines, regulator, and injectors are junk, and the pump possibly locks up, or in some cases is blown apart. How can this pump help to prevent all of that?
All 2011 - 2023 RCD CPX CP4 pumps are modified internally in a 5 AXIS CNC to return fuel to the tank. This prevents debris from entering the injector in the instance of a failure. "DISASTER KITS" ARE NOT NEEDED!
