Regulated Fuel Return System (with flexible lines) - 6.0L - '03-'07

By installing a regulated fuel return kit, you eliminate the "dead heading" of the injectors at the back of the block. This 'drinking what's left over' impacts the longevity of your #7 and #8 injectors and commonly results in their early demise. This kit allows fuel to act like an 'endless river' of fuel allowing each injector get the same access to fuel at the same pressure regardless of its location in the head.
The kits uses 1/2" flexible lines for an easier install, works great with aftermarket fuel systems such as is offered through FASS or AirDog.
NOTE: Clearances between the back of the driver's head and the Y-Pipe are fairly tight, but present no issues on a typical installation. IF you're running an aftermarket Y-pipe and/or pipe heat-wrap there may additonal clearance limitations that would require an alternative banjo style fitting to be used for the rear fuel line connection on the driver's side head. The Driven Diesel regulated return kit on our site has banjo style connections for the rear of the heads and clearance issues are much less prevalent with those kits/fittings.
All of the kit options include:
- Aeromotive regulator
- Aeromotive gauge
- Stainless mounting bracket
- Factory return plug
- Braided flexible hoses
- Fittings for the rear of the heads that run snugly against the head to maximize the clearance between the lines and the (incredibly hot) up pipes
The following options are available for this kit:
FUEL BOWL DELETE OPTION: If you elect the fuel bowl delete option, it eliminates the need for the 'blue spring kit' and the kit includes longer front lines to reach the included regulator and the pieces required for a clean install.
*** Consider adding this: 6.4L OIL FILTER HOUSING: To clean things up nicely you can elect to migrate to the 6.4L oil filter housing. The benefit is that it does not have an incorporated fuel bowl housing molded into it like 6.0L factory housing. To add that to your order, see the purchase window at the bottom of this page.
