6.0L PowerStroke Tune Package for Large Injectors:
XX Tow
This tow tune is set up for any after-market injectors while trying to keep the EGT’s (Exhaust Gas Temps) down. A similar tow tune on a stock vehicle (stock injectors and 4" exhaust) yielded gains of:
Horsepower 40HP @ 2925rpm
Torque 133lb-ft @ 2600 RPM
XX Reduced Fuel
This tune adds more boost and fuel and a more powerful street tune while maintaining drivability. A similar street tune on a stock vehicle (stock injectors and 4" exhaust) yielded gains of:
Horsepower 109HP @ 2925rpm
Torque 213lb-ft @ 2600 RPM
XX Full Fuel
This tune will be similar to the XX Reduced Fuel until you put your foot to the floor. Then you need to be sure you're buckled in and attentive as the “FULL FUEL” will put your rig into beast mode. A similar performance tune on a stock vehicle (stock injectors and 4" exhaust) yielded gains of:
Horsepower 148HP @ 2925rpm
Torque 278lb-ft @ 2600 RPM
IMPORTANT INFO: Having a fully functional EBP sensor and a clean EBP tube will be critical to these tunes functioning well for you. In the past, you may have been running a version of Ford’s “inferred” EBP on your stock ECM, which did not rely on the EBP tube & sensor. These tunes will. – If after loading the tunes you see running issues, excessive smoke, a lot higher than normal EGTs, confirm your EBP tube & sensor. Do not disregard this advisory or contact us about running issues unit you have fully confirmed your EBP sensor is fully functional, reading data properly, and the tube is clear. (rest assured, we’ve ridden in that rodeo many, many times)
At Key On Engine Off (KOEO), ebp should be within 1psi of MAP & BARO
At Idle, EBP should hover 1-3psi higher than MAP & BARO
Note: A stock 5R110 can safely handle around 475HP, but the transmission is what delivers horsepower to the ground. If you're running an automatic transmission, oversized injectors, tunes and other mods, our 5R110 solenoid upgrade package is a smart way to protect your transmission, and highly, highly recommended.
