      The Mel's Manufacturing Twister is a race muffler that fits nicely into tight locations and reduces noise levels to meet most track requirements. These unit work great as a resonator on diesel trucks and provide a deep, throaty sound.  

    These mufflers/resonators feature a continuous spiral design that provides far less exhaust restriction than other glass-packed designs. This helps to minimize turbulence and results in far better power output over the competition. The dual flow path provides effective noise cancelation and creates a vacuum/vortex effect that accelerates the exhaust flow through the muffler.

These units are a a universal muffler add-on for any 4" or 5" exhaust system. The Twister muffler uses a high-flow dual-path system to keep your exhaust quiet enough for the street but doesn't restrict flow like an OEM or aftermarket glass packed design. 

It's designed to meet most track requirements and works great as a resonator on diesel applications. Even when tested against rigs running open headers, adding the twister muffler system resuloted in no signidicant power loss!

      To ensure precise fit, please check catalytic converter shape, length and inlet diameter: the latter should match your exhaust pipe diameter. Installation may involve welding and cutting
