International IDM/ECM

         We're well versed in International IDM and ECM module repairs. We restore faulty units at a fraction of the cost of buying a replacement and we do so using  upgraded components at the board level that are superior to OE. 
         With regard to these International IDM/ECM combo units, as you evaluate the repair, it's critical to recognize the complexity of the systems. Essentially, there are 4 possible primary failure points. 
            1) IDM Logic
             2) IDM Power 
              3) ECM 
               4) Software Corruption    

     Our Ultra Service is the only service that ensures that all of the above potential failure points are evaluated, confirmed and/or repaired and restored to full functionality. It's absolutely the most effective and certain way to achieve a one-shot, hassle free repair.
      For shops, techs and others who are well versed in system diagnostics and have been able to formally and specifically confirm what aspect of their system has failed, we do offer a couple of other less comprehensive repair options.
       A word of caution: The less comprehensive options (PREMIUM and BASIC) DO NOT address all of the above referenced potential failure points. In the right situation and for someone with the right diagnostic information, the Basic and Premium services may be a solid choice. We've had plenty of instances the where the less comprehensive services effectively resolved an issue. But.... we've also had a good number of people poorly diagnosed whic aspect of the sytem was faulty and ended up needing additional repair services and having additional down time. BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR SERVICE LEVEL SELECTION.
       If you select the BASIC or PREMIUM level repair, you're assuming FULL responsibility for doing so. In other words, if, upon completion of one of the less comprehensive services, someone finds that their system is still not functioning properly it's almost certain that it's the result of failing to select the correct service option and/or failing to properly diagnose the issue. Selecting any service level other than the ULTRA service leaves potential failure points that have not been evaluated/repaired, and will make any additional troubleshooting far more difficult. Obviously, if someone goes that route and problems remain we're willing to perform any additional repair services one may need but standard lead times and standard pricing terms will apply. 
     We back our work 100% and work hard to support our customers but the customer assumes full responsibility for any issues resulting from selecting a service level that doesn't get to the actual root of the problem.

1)  ULTRA SERVICE
           Comprehensive IDM/ECM combo service   ** send in ECM and IDM  
       Absent formal pre-diagnosis and confirmation of the issue on your end, we absolutely recommend this service. It's the only comprehensive service that essentially guarantees you'll end up with a fully functioning, solid performing IDM/ECM combo system.     

                                                 Ultra Service Includes: 
a) IDM - Fully refreshed case, logic board, power board repair and upgraded board level components  
b) ECM - Comprehensive diagnostics, disassembly, inspection, repair and rebuild as needed. 
c) SOFTWARE -  IDM/ECM International proprietary software reflash pairing the IDM and ECM units and resolving any potential software corruption issues      
 

2) PREMIUM SERVICE
        IDM Only - Full Service    ** send in ECM and IDM 
      This service will provide you with a fully refreshed (internally & externally) IDM unit using  enhanced internal components.
      This service DOES NOT INCLUDE any repair or diagnostic services on the ECM. 

                                           Premium Service Includes: 
a) IDM - Fully refreshed: refreshed case, logic board and power board repair, upgraded board level components  
b) SOFTWARE - Full IDM and ECM International proprietary software reflash pairing the IDM and ECM units and resolving any existing software corruption issues      

3) BASIC SERVICE - IDM POWER BOARD ONLY  ** Send in IDM only 
      This service is to resolve IDM power Board issues only. We will provide you with a refreshed and upgraded power board with upgraded components and a refreshed external case. 
      This service DOES NOT INCLUDE any repair or diagnostic services on the IDM logic board hardware or software.  Since no work is performed on the ECM only send in the IDM module.

                                           Basic Service Includes: 
a) IDM POWER BOARD - Fully refreshed IDM case and power board repair using upgraded board level components
